      I've had a few pick-up gigs recently:

• when:           05/23/09
  where:         Bel Alton VFW Post south of La Plata in southern Maryland
  with who:   Special Blend
  Nice gig, played there a bunch of times over the years, crowd seems to be slowly disappearing.


• when:           05/24/09
  where:         Peerces Landing club house for the Loch Raven golf course
  with who:   Special Blend
  Wedding reception.


• when:           06/06/09
  where:         Glenn Dale Country Club off University Blvd between Greenbelt and Bowie
  with who:   The Freestate Houserockers added their site to our links page
  Private party, full tilt blues band, used the new p.a.

      Had a great time at all of them, but I may be getting too old for back-to-back gigs any more ... sigh ...

      Bob and I are keepin' on. Looks like no gig in June.

      I updated my mastering software and finished the third mod to the demo. Each version has been a noticeable improvement over the previous version, and I think this is the one we're going to just let go of.
