Rick's Rap   - March 2009

      3/15/09 - The Ides {sic} of March

      Well, there obviously hasn't been a lot of site maintenance in about a year. Kind of a summary of what's been happening:

• I asked the guys in Special Blend (the Southern Maryland classic rock band that I've been sitting in with regularly) to take me off of regular rotation and just use me for emergency fill in.
  
  
• Bob and I kept plugging away at recording, and managed to get two sets worth of recordings that didn't make us cringe when we listened to the playback.
  
  
• I kept beating on the mastering software I've been writing, and I was able to come up with a demo mix that we're not ashamed of.

• I bought a new p.a., a Bose L1 model 1.
  
  
• We played our 1st gig as Rock Creek Unplugged.
