STEVE Bass

STEVE DOLLEY started playing bass about 20 years ago in Vermont, inspired by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead and by a band his weird Goddard College housemates had formed by the name of Phish. Steve has played with a number of Washington DC-area bands since 1992, in particular the psychedelic crustaceans of Liquid Lobster (www.liquidlobster.com). "Bass bridges melody and rhythm, holding the sound together while the band explores outer musical space. Besides, it's just fun to shake the floor."
